Use Okta vocabulary and brand terms consistently to build a product experience that users understand and trust. Unless the name is a product or service name, or is trademarked, always use sentence–style capitalization.
The Okta product glossary
The glossary includes both Okta vocabulary that should be used, and words that should be avoided and revised.

Other resources
- If a term isn’t included, consult our other vocabulary resources or use the spelling and style provided by Merriam-Webster.
- If not part of the Okta product glossary, use simple words that an eighth-grader would understand. To check, use the Hemingway app.
