When to use Odyssey, ARC, or MUI

If you are building new page UIs |
Use only the Odyssey Design Kit and the React library.
Don't use any ARC or Courage components — the styling and code will not be consistent, or work. |

If you need a component that doesn't exist yet in Odyssey |
Submit your request to the Design System team and substitute MUI components wrapped in our brand styles. |

If you are using a pre-1.0 version of Odyssey |
Work with your engineering partners to update to Odyssey 1.0 through the THI migration plan. |
|
If you are working in ARC UIs and building a new component that will only be used in ARC |
Continue designing with the ARC UI kit. At this time, Odyssey's React library can't be used within ARC. |
